 Brief Description:
3 (Hutchison 3G), a mobile multimedia company which aims to make communication simpler, faster and more enjoyable. 3 Launhed there services on 03/03/03. It is co-owned by Hutchison Whampoa, KPN Mobile from the Netherlands and NTT DoCoMo, Japan's largest mobile phone company. Hutchinson 3G, one of five companies awarded licences by the UK Government in May 2000 to run 3rd generation mobile phone services. The company is focused solely on 3G services.

Just a quick note to say that this is the best ever network I've been on. The majority of the happiness is due to the keenly priced X-Series silver, Skype flexible tariff (Flext35 clone), and customer services even agreed to refund (without too much fuss) the data costs due to them switching off the old Internet 30 add-on before moving me to X-Series silver. And the signal has come a very long way from 2004 when I started using 3. Good thing it can now seamlessly roam 3<>Orange! The phone is like a Swiss army knife, so many things I can do with it.. really helps to make time fly when on the train. Hopefully one day on the underground too! So apart from the rubbish firmware on my N73, I'm happy!!
