The SkypePhone is 3's way of showing off its high speed broadband capabilities, without the need of paying large sums of money on a handset that does things you could never dream to understand. It quite simply is a phone, so can do all the normal stuff a phone might do, but can also take advantage of 'Sykpe'.
Skype is a program which allows you to make calls for free over the internet, for instance from a broadband PC to a phone with 3G. The software gives the ability to send instant messages, keep friends lists, call and video call other people (to name but a few). As well as Skype the handset comes with a 2 megapixel camera, the ability to play 3D Java games, An MP3 player, Mobile TV, The internet and has a 256Mb memory card included in the box.
