The first BenQ Siemens phone to hit the UK market was the EF81 a stunning phone that has the looks the style and the specifications to back it up. The EF81 is the first product to come out of BenQ Siemens since they merged last year. You can tell instantly that this is going to be a great partnership.
On the surface you may notice that the EF81 looks like a more futuristic version of the V3 which is true, it does hold a lot of resemblances with its design but it ends there. The design is the only thing these phones have in common. BenQ are known for their screens in a good way and Siemens to be honest were known for their terrible screens. So there is no surprise when you see the screen on this phone it is stunning. It has an internal 256k Colour screen with Organic technology, no we aren't trying to be funny that how BenQ Siemens describe their new screens, but they truly are awesome. There is a cool 2 Mega Pixels camera which compliments the awesome screen. The camera is rotating which is located on the bezel of the flip. The camera is also capable of recording and playing back video. The EF81 has 3G technology so you can make and receive video calls aswell as stream video to your handset quicker than most of other handsets.
The EF81 has an MP3 player which is capable of supporting MP3 & AAC music files. But don't worry there is plenty of room to store music in the EF81 as BenQ Siemens have give the phone expandable memory which allows you to upgrade the memory up to 1Gb with the use of a TransFlash memory card.
Other features of the EF81 include; Bluetooth for wireless connectivity, Polyphonic ringtones and Tri-Band compatibility.
