The KU990, dubbed the 'Viewty', is the latest touch-screen offering from LG. The handset is one of the more advance models on the market, offering a range of tools and feature which make it a such highly demanded phone.
The phone incorporates a 3 inch TFT touch-screen which allows for easy navigation of it's multi-page menu system, as well as a switch on the side to select between photo, video and preview mode. There is a 5 megapixel camera on the phone, not just for capturing images but also video. The camera can record video at up to 130FPS allowing for slow-mo playback of all those important moments and editing software has also been included with the phone. This gives you the freedom to edit your footage and upload straight to 'youtube' from the handset. A secondary inward facing camera is also installed for video calling. The Viewty can also give off a small vibration when you press a button on screen, to give it the feeling of being a keypad, increasing the usability for people who may be purchasing this as their first touch-screen device. | After having had the phone for a few months i am still trying to find time to fiddle with all the features. You can never be too far from an opportunity to try out the slow motion replay or video editing software. The media playing facilities come in handy on long commutes.
I would recommed it to anybody out there! |
