The LG U8150 is very similar in most respects to the LG U8130. The U8150 is exclusive to the orange network. It is a 3G phone, which is capable of 3G functions such as; video calling and video messaging; the phone can also access news, information and entertainment.
The main difference between the U8150 and the U8130 is that the 8150 has an external colour screen, and an internal colour screen with 262k colours, where as the 8130 only had 65k colours and the external screen was just black and white. The camera on the 8150 is a standard VGA camera, and rotates 180? so that the camera can be pointed at you for video calling or turned to take pictures. There’s an MP3 player on the phone so that you can listen to your favourite tracks on the move, there is a voice recorder so you will not forget to do something!
The memory on the 8150 has also been upgraded from 32MBs to 64MBs to give you a bit more room for storing you MP3 files and videos but this would still be filled up quite quickly if you got into the MP3 player.
The U8150 also a speakerphone, plus the usual Java games, polyphonic ringtones and screensavers that can be downloaded. You can also connect your 8150 to your PC/Laptop via a USB cable so that you can download your images or videos. The battery life of this phone is also very good for a 3G phone; the battery will last for up to 8 days on standby and the talk time is 3.5 hours!
