The A835 is another 3G handset from Motorola. At the time of the A835 release, 3G handsets were still in there developing stage and quite big in size, although most of them were packed full of features.
This particular phone was a good example of this and offered a wide range of features as well as being 3G compatible. The A835 has a rather large 65k colour display, and a decent camera to compliment this. You have the ability to make and receive video calls with other compatible handsets and shoot your own videos with the phones video camera.
You can keep your self amused with the phones MP3 player. You can even have one of your favourite songs as your ringtone because the A835 supports MP3 ringtones and polyphonic ringtones. You can store your downloaded Java games and applications in the phones generous 64Mbs of internal memory. The A835 has Bluetooth for wireless connectivity, a picture phone book and it will work in America as it is Triband compatible. Like all good phones you have the usual features, a built in handsfree speaker, customisable wallpapers and screen savers, vibration alert. The phones overall weight is a mere 155g and the battery lasts up to 9 days on standby.
Compare the Motorola A835 with another phone...

| The words are BIG & HEAVY. This is not one of the better phones I have had. The battery life is about 1 to 2 days so make sure if your going away for the weekend to take your charger. Best leave this one alone and go for a more up to date phone. |
