The Motorola RAZR V3i is a phone which has been long awaited ever since the RAZR V3 was released. The RAZR V3 was a design which people loved, it was slim, it was futuristic and it was practical. But people began to release that the V3 was really just a pretty face. It couldn't actually do that much, it had nothing going for it. It didn't have a lot of memory, didn't have an MP3 player and these were features that people had started to expect from phones.
The RAZR V3i still keeps the looks of the V3, although it's not currently available in pink ;0) and has lot more features compared to the V3. The V3i still has the good features of the V3, its still quad band it still has Bluetooth, its got MP3 ringtones. The new things are; the camera, the camera is now a 1023 Megapixel camera rather than just a VGA, which means the quality of the photos are going to be so much better when they are printed, or put onto your PC. The memory on the phone has also been upgraded rather than having, just 5.5Mb of memory this has been upgraded to 10Mb built in and the ability to upgrade the memory card with the use of a TransFlash card. There is now a full mP3 player, so you can listen to all your tunes whilst you are on the move. Motorola have also made it iTunes compatible, to make it easier for those who already use iTunes. The screen quality of the V3i is the same as on the V3 which is 256k colours.
Compare the Motorola RAZR V3i with another phone...

This phone is slim and looks great, I admit the camera isn't brilliant but most days everyone has a digital camera anyway so who needs a great mobile phone camera? I cannot understand why a review says there are no games on the V3i, as mine has 3 (which came with the phone).

After only buying Sony Ericsson phones I now know what I've been missing. The V3i is fantastic. Stylish, well equipped, brilliant camera and lots of memory. It also comes with a GREAT pack that allows you to plug your phone into your PC, using a USB cable, and easily transfer all your songs, pics and mp3's. I really cant find anything to criticise the V3i on......Apart from it does take a while to get used to texting. Sony Ericsson phones are rather small, the V3i does have a large keypad and it does take longer to send a text. Other than that superb. You will not be disappointed. =)

I think that the V3i is a brilliant phone it has only one fault and that is, it has no games however games are not that important on a mobile as it takes battery life and not many people have time to play them. The big fault on this phone is the camera, a lot of phones now have 2 megapixel cameras but and the V3i only has a 1.23 megapixels. The phone its self is stylish and looks great

One of the coolest phones out there with it's super thin sleek design. The new RAZR V3i delivers the same great design, but now with iTunes, making it that much better. The speakerphone is very clear, and the 1.23 megapixel camera comes in very handy. One of the best things it has going for it is that Motorola is the leader in Bluetooth headsets and syncing it is simple. The only draw back with this phone is that because it's in such high demand that it's expensive.

After using all sorts of phones over the years, but having a Samsung D500 for a year I decided I'd give the V3i a go. One word of advice.. DON'T. I can see why people like this phone, it looks stunning, thin, metal case, great buttons, but look beyond that and it all falls down. The internal screen is eye-aching to look at. If you turn the phone on it's side the screen feels comfortable to look at, but the 'normal' way is bad. The camera is shockingly bad, my D500 takes by far a better picture and they're only 0.6 mega pixel apart. I had this phone as an upgrade. It tuned up yesterday I had a look and a play and it went back to the post office this morning. If the camera, screen and user interface could all catch up with the design then this phone would be a killer, but as they're not on par, I would say avoid like the plague!!
