The NEC 343i was one of the first i-mode enabled phones to be launched in the UK, along with the NEC 411i. i-mode is a service only available through O2 and offers high speed web access and the use of email via the i-mail service.
The phone its self isn't too bad specification wise and its wafer thin sleek design is quite appealing. The 343i has a built in camera which is VGA (0.3 Mega pixels) which isn't too bad when you considered the price of the device. The screen offers 65k colours, and the screen is quite bright and vivid, so it's easy to see in any light. The camera is also capable of recording videos which you can then playback through the handset.
The 343i also offers Java technology so you can download extra games to the phone and keep your self entertained. There is a currency converter on the 343i which could come in handed. The overall weight of the 343i is 95grams!
