The Nokia 6280 is one of Nokias first slide up mobile phones. A design which is becoming increasingly popular in the UK. When you first look at the phone you think, 7650 which is an old Nokia with a similar look. But when you look further at the 6280 you see that it actually has a lot more to offer.
The 6280 is packed full of quality features, one of which being a 2 mega pixel camera, which will ensure that you have quality images all of the time. The screen on the 6280 is good and very colourful, the screen offers 256k colours and is bright and vivid so you will be able to see it what ever light you are in. There is also a secondary camera on the 6280 which is located of the front by the screen which is used for video calling, as the phone supports 3G! There is an MP3 player so you can listen to your favourite music whilst out and about. And if you get bored of listening to your own music you can listen to your favourite Radio station using the phones built in FM Radio.
The 6280 has Bluetooth for wireless connectivity, so you can safely use the phone whilst driving. It also has PTT (Push-To-Talk) which is a walkie-talkie kind of communication, which is yet to launch in the UK. The 6280 has 10Mb of internal memory which can be upgraded by a miniSD memory card, a 64Mb card is included.
Compare the Nokia 6280 with another phone...

| I have had nothing but problems with the 6280 buyers beware it has to be the worst phone on the market right now. Its cuts out mid phone call with a full signal showing, cuts out when playing music and just turns off when it feels like it. |

| Out of numerous Nokia mobiles I have used, I am sorry to say that the Nokia 6280 will most probably be the last Nokia I will use. My boyfriend had got the same model for both of us, and on the 2nd day of purchase, the phone had already given a lot of problems, 1. auto shutoff (blackout) ,when listening to music or playing games. 2. not able to make or receive calls ,even full network reception marking was shown. When I questioned the sales person about it, all I get was, "software problem". Upon the 2nd day of purchase??? and I am talking about both our phones of the same model just purchased few days apart, yet experienced similar problems?? One of them have already been sent for servicing, nothing was mentioned except that the motherboard had to be changed. |
