Usually a phone is designed to be beautiful or packed with features. Once in a while we see a new mobile designed to be just a mobile.Nokia have done the unspeakable and made a seriously stunning handset which also has some kind of usuability. It is a feel good phone and Nokia's most expensive.
Cheap and Tatty this phone is not. it comes in two models the Arte and the Sapphire. The Shapphire is more expensive then the Arte. Somthing to do with a whole piece sapphire as its directional controller? Both phones have a bi-stable spring and stainless steel ball bearing system which allows the case to glide effortlessly open and shut again. A solid metal body and scratch resistant mineral glass display are some of the brilliant and eclectic materials used in the Nokia 8800.
If you want a phone which is gonna travel to an outer planet unmanned, this is not it. However if you took this with you, any signs of life would be impressed. It has a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus, 3G and a 'touch for time feature' (simply tap the handset a few times to be presented with the time).
Like what your hearing? Now have a look at the price.
