The N70 is the latest phone with 3G technology from Nokia. It's a stunning fresh design and the smallest Nokia have ever made! The N70 is aimed more at the 3G side of things; like 2 way video calling, which allows you to see the person you are talking to. The screen on the N70 has 256k colours which is one of the highest currently available. This is brilliant for the video calling and for taking pictures with the phones built-in 2 megapixel camera. The camera is capable of recording videos and has a red eye remover feature built in which will automatically get rid of any red eyes whenever a photo is taken. There is also a secondary camera on the front of the phone which is used for video calling, this camera is VGA (0.3 Mp) The N70 has a built-in FM Radio so you can tune in to your favorite radio station on the move! And there is also an MP3 player which can be used to listen to your own music which you can download onto the handset using a USB Cable, or Bluetooth. There is 35Mb of internal memory in the N70 which can be upgraded with the use of an RS-MMC memory card (a 64Mb card is supplied). The other features of the N70; Java technology so you can download extra games on to your handset and PTT Push-To-Talk which is a walkie-talkie type of communication. | Before I bought the phone, I read a lot of reviews about the N70, and the most common agreement by most users was that this phone can be very slow. BUT, focus on the "can", because there are various options in order to ensure that the N70 works faster etc. Also, another problem is that the keypad is quite small, yet I guess that isn't too big a deal because I can still use it perfectly and haven't made any typing mistakes as yet. On the other hand, this phone is amazing!!! The camera is great, it looks like a bond phone, has great features and is an overall superb phone. So YES I recommend it despite what others may have to say. It IS a fine phone | |

| First of all let me just say that I am a huge fan of Nokia phones. I have had all the different mobile phones and always end up going back to Nokia. Now the N70 I think is an absolutely superb phone. First of all it looks stunning - I know there are a lot of small phones out there in the market but I think sometimes they are getting a bit played out and feel a bit flimsy at times. I have tried Sharp GX30 which I liked, Sony Ericsson K750i which I absolutely hated, I am not a fan of Sony Ericsson, I loved my wee Nokia 6230i. I thought I would have a change and decided to try the Samsung D600 which is a fantastic phone, but after using Nokia with all its features the other phones don't seem to have much. I then gave in and low and behold went on to try Nokia 6680 (back to Nokia) which is a fab phone which I loved and would have stuck with this until I saw the N70. Now this I think is a truly amazing phone. I like others find the N70 a bit slow, but not so much that it would put you off the phone. The camera, video camera, high resolution screen and all the features as well as the phones lovely compact design mean that it will have to be a fab phone to beat this phone in my book. Beautiful and beats the Samsung hands down, in style, sturdiness, ease of use, functions, the only thing the Samsung has better is the TV output but, how many people will actually use that and if so the novelty soon wears off - Nokia N70 best phone on the market by far. | |
