The Nokia N81's main function is the revamped N-Gage Feature, allowing you to play games with console like quality on the move. Unlike the N-Gage there is no need to card around any game cartridges, as all the games can be downloaded and store on the phone's HUGE 8GB memory! The silver pad on the front is a touch sensitive control allowing you to slide through you menus just by flowing your thumb over it. It can also be used whilst gaming!
Making use of it's large amounts of memory, the N81 incorporates a media player capable of playing the MP3 and ACC formats. A 3.5 mm stereo jack means that you can use any set of head phones, allowing you to plug in your favourite set for comfort and Bluetooth A2DP technology means that you can stream music to a wireless set of headphones, speakers or stereo! There is also an FM radio, incase you wish to catch up with the football or in the rare event you may run out of music.
A 2 megapixel camera with image and video capture capabilities has also been included. It may not be as high-end as some of the cameras on other phones (for instance the Nokia N95 and LG KU990 Viewty) but it should suffice for music lovers.
