The Cocoon is O2's attempt at creating a music phone. The main selling points being it's Windows Media Player software and integrated 2Gb memory with the ability to double this with an additional memory card.
The ability to use Windows Media Player means that there are a lot more supported media formats, which many other music phones and even MP3 players do not support and this allows you to transfer songs from your windows PC to the phone without worry of incompatibility. The 4Gb total memory (if you choose to purchase a memory card) will allow you to carry up to 1000 tracks and the radio means that if you were to run out of songs, you can just switch to your favourite station and keep the tunes flowing. A standard 3.5mm has also been incorporated into the phone allowing you to use your favourite set of headphones with the Cocoon.
O2 have not overlooked the design on this phone and have incorporated a cool looking LED screen underneath the cover. Not only will this tell you who is calling but will clearly display the time for you. The ultra modern design should be enough to impress, if not its very own charging pod or 'nest' should just about do the trick.
The phone is also Quad-Band so will work world wide. Other features include; Bluetooth, video calling, MP3 ringtones and a 2 megapixel camera, with video record, flash and autofocus.
