Orange SPV C500 Mobile Phone Reviews

The SPV C500 was the first of the new C Series to be released on Orange. It took the market by storm, with its new sleek design which looks like a ‘normal' phone but offers a wide range of features.

The C500 is run on the Windows platform and it great for everyone that is looking for a PDA and a phone combined or just a phone. The phone doesn't have a touch screen but this only makes the phone more affordable! The C500 only weighs a mere 100g, which is very light. The C500 has a built in digital camera, which allows you to also record you own videos you can even play them back on the handsets brilliant large screen.

The features of the C500 include vibration alert, mobile email and access to MSN messenger so you can keep in instant contact with friends, family and colleagues. The C500 also has a full web browser but as the screen isn't PDA size the pages would be shrunk a bit but that's to be expected. Another great feature of the C500 is shortcuts on the homepages screen which gives you access to great features such as Orange Back up, which allows you to back up your phone numbers and email address. In case the unexpected was to happen to your phone.

The C500 also has Bluetooth for wireless connectivity to another device or a Bluetooth headset to allow you to drive safely while talking on the phone, without any wires. There is also an MP3 player so you can listen to your favourite tracks whilst you're out and about or even waiting to go into a meeting or appointment. The C500 is also Triband so it will work in America.

I have had the C500 for a year now and it has been a quality phone. Being able to use MSN and the internet have been the best features. The worst being windows, which crashed a number of times in the middle of a game or looking up directions on the net. On the whole a good phone, hopefully the new C600 will improve on the formula.

This is a truly stunning phone. Being a windows smartphone the range of extra software programs is mind blowing. This phones size - tiny - is incredible bearing in mind that it is a true smartphone. This phone is even better when you get it "unlocked" from Orange. It is a perfect "vehicle" for a Sat Nav system. Great phone and a pleasure to use.
