Before I get started I just want to say if you have the D600, then this isn't an upgrade! If anything it's a downgrade! I'm not normally harsh about phones but what is the point with this one? Its got nothing better than the D600, its just a fatter version of the D500! The camera is probably the only thing I can shout about, but its not even that good. It s a 1.3 Megapixel camera with video recording and playback capabilities and it has a flash. There is an MP3 player which is capable of the MP3/AAC/AAC+ formats of music. It has a built in hands free speaker phone, and Java technology so you can download extra games. The phone has 4Mb of memory for Java applications and 80Mb of memory in total, which is similar to the D500 but just a bit less. The other features include; MP3 ringtones as well as polyphonic. The D800 also has Bluetooth for wireless connections to other Bluetooth devices. So like I said at the start what's the point? If your looking at getting a slide phone look towards to D600, or the Samsung 6280. Compare the Samsung D800 with another phone... |

| I have just invested in the Samsung D800. I did have F500 and wanted to upgrade. However the battery life is poor has to be charged every 24 hours. It is a classy phone but disappointing performance. | |
