The D820 is the latest 3G offering from Samsung, and a wide range of features in what seems to be quite a big shell. Sorry to say it guys and girls but it really doesn’t look nice.
The features aren’t all that but they could have been better in a handset of this size. There is a built in rotating 1.3 megapixel camera which is capable of recording and playing back your videos . The reason why it rotates is so that you can point it at yourself when your making or receiving video calls. There is a built in MP3 player, which can play MP3/AAC & AAC+ formats of music. Samsung have thought about this feature so they have added a 73Mb of memory which can be upgraded to 512Mb with the use of microSD (TransFlash) memory cards.
A big feature that quite a few people liked on the D600 was the TV output, it gave you the ability to connect your phone to your TV so you could watch your pictures and videos on a much bigger screen. Samsung have included this feature on the D820. The D820 also has Bluetooth for wireless connectivity, and MP3 and Polyphonic ringtones. The D820 is also quad band so you can use it pretty much anyway in the world.
Compare the Samsung D820 with another phone...
