The D830 is the 3rd member of Samsungs Ultra Edition; it joins the Samsung X820 and the Samsung D900. They have been called the Ultra Edition because of how slim they are, but this doesn't mean that Samsung have compromised on any of the features. It will also be available in three colours; Black, Silver and Red.
The D830 is actually a mere 9.9mm thin! That's even thinner than the Motorola RAZR V3, which is quite impressive. What is even more impressive are the features that they have squeezed in. These include; a quality 2 megapixel camera, with a built in flash and video recording and playback capability. There is a music player which will play MP3/AAC/AAC+ & WMA formats of music. There are two ways to transfer your music and your files to and from your PC/Laptop. The first is wirelessly via Bluetooth and the other is through a wired USB cable. Or if you just want to view your images and videos you can plug your phone into your TV and watch them on a bigger screen as the D830 supports TV Output.
The memory of the D830 is also another feature that hasn't been comprised because of the size; it has a mediocre 80Mb of internal memory but this expandable using a MicroSD memory card.
Compare the Samsung D830 with another phone...
