The Samsung E600 is Samsungs smallest camera phone, with a clamshell design like the earlier A800 and S300, but with a lot more features. The E600 has two colour screens one external and one internal and both of them have 65k colours! This means that you can take pictures of you and your friends using the front screen as a “view finder”. The E600 does have a camera which is quite good when compared to other clamshell phones in its range. It is also capable of capturing short video clips and then playing them back through the handset, so you will never miss out on those unforgettable moments. Once you have taken your images or videos you can send them to other people with a compatible handset using MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) The E600 has an overall memory capacity of 7.5MBs which can used for storing images, videos and downloaded Java games.
The E600 has polyphonic ringtones and you can connect it to your PC/Laptop via a data cable to transfer your images and videos. The phone is also Triband so it will work in America and weighs in at a mere 85g so it won't weight down in your bag or pocket!
Compare the Samsung E600 with another phone...

| Despite having a VGA camera, the pictures if captured are actually better quality than most phones i have seen (not the new ones of course). My favourite feature is that the phone can actually take pictures even if the clip is closed, to ensure a very nice self portrait. The battery life is still ok, about 3-4 days if you never really use it. The features are actually quite limited, no stop watch, i think every mobile should have. There is also no MP3 player, no Bluetooth to transfer stuff to and via the pc. |
