The Siemens SL65 is the replacement for the popular SL55 slide-phone. The SL55 didn’t really have what it took to survive in the mobile world and therefore didn’t. The SL65 is a much more promising release packed full of features.
It has been given a really nice makeover, and no looks more futuristic with its two toned body. The overall shell is a bit bigger as siemens have made the camera built in this time rather than having to plug in an attachment.
As we said the features of this phone made it look very promising as it had a vibrant 65k colour screen and a camera to compliment this. The camera has a 5x digital zoom and is also capable of recording videos, so you can capture those unforgettable moments. The SL65 has polyphonic ringtones, downloadable Java games and a cool picture phone book so you can see who is calling! The SL65 is also capable of sending and receiving videos and images with the help of MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service). You can even synchronize the phone to Microsoft Outlook to keep the data on your phone up to date with your pc! You can take the phone to America with you as the phone is Triband.
Compare the Siemens SL65 with another phone...

| I had the SL55 before and loved it because it was so small. This is basically an updated version of that phone. Still as sleek, compact and cool but now with more features. The design is first rate and I would recommend it if that's something that's important to you. The sliding motion to open the phone is innovative, elegant and quite unusual. Certainly turns a few heads in the pub. Lacks a video or MP3 player option, but the camera is of a moderately high quality and the photos look good on the high quality screen. |
