The SX1 is a series 60 smartphone from Siemens with a unique design. In order to minimize the size of the phone Siemens have moved the numeric keypad to the edges of the phone allowing the screen to take up the free space.
The SX1 was a new concept design which went down well with lots of people. Don’t let the position of the keys put you off, as Siemens have installed a game that helps you learn where all the words are! And it works! Not forgetting the fabulous mosquito game, where you move round and shoot the mosquitoes, not a game to be played in public. The SX1 has a brilliant 65k TFT colour screen, the TFT technology makes it bright and vivid and easy to see in any light. There is a decent camera which takes good images and a video recorder so you can capture those unforgettable moments. And just in case you get bored you can listen to your music on the phones MP3 player or even tune into your favourite radio station with the phones FM Radio.
Just in case you get bored of playing the mosquito game (you won’t though), you can download extra games using Java technology. The SX1 has Bluetooth for wireless connectivity and you can customize the phone by downloading different screensavers and wallpapers. One of the big things that most people will enjoy is the fact that you can synchronize it with Microsoft Outlook. It is also Triband so you can take it to America with you.
Compare the Siemens SX1 with another phone...
