So the Sony Ericsson W810i is finally here! It’s a newer model; which has got its inspiration from the K750i and the W800i. It looks are a combination of both the phones put together, with a bit extra thrown in too. Some of you will be please to hear that there is no horrible orange! I know some people liked it; but there were lots that didn’t ;0) But if you’re an Orange person I wouldn’t worry to much, as their really isn't much difference in the W810i and the W800i & K750i. Its all about choice.
The W810i has the Walkman software built in; which allows you to listen to your music and organise your tracks just like you would on an bipod. Before you wouldn’t bother putting music on to your phone as you wouldn’t get many tracks on it, but now you can have up to 2Gb worth of memory in your phone! So that allows storage for a lot of music. (Although Sony Ericsson have a new phone on its way with 4Gb of internal memory! Nice!) The cost of these memory cards are falling in price all the time; I picked up a 1Gb Memory Stick Pro Duo for my K750i the other day for £34.99! The W810i has a built in FM Radio with RDS (Radio Data System). RDS allows the name of the Radio station to be displayed on your screen a nice gadget but a bit pointless. But the Radio is pretty decent, just in case you get bored of you listening to your own music; you can tune into your favourite radio station.
The biggest feature in phones at the moment is the camera; it always has been and always will be. It’s just a nice feeling not to have to carry a digital camera and a mobile phone around! Because of this the manufacturers are always upgrading the camera, so their phone can have the best camera. The W810i has a built in 2 Mega Pixel camera, with auto focus and flash. It even allows Video recording and playback as well. Once you have taken your pictures/videos you might want to transfer them to your PC/Laptop so you can print or back them up. The W810i allows you to do this with great ease; in the box you get a USB cable so you can just plug it into your computer. Or if you want to do it “wire free” you can connect to your computer using Bluetooth or infrared. Bluetooth being the quicker option as it doesn’t need a direct link and just generally has a faster rate of transfer.
The W810i is also Quad-Band for use of your mobile phone in more countries. It has polyphonic and MP3 ringtones, so you can have the real song as your ringtone. It is also Java compatible so you can download extra games to keep you entertained.

Excellent phone but the price is high for pay as you go customers. As I have found it retailing at £200 to £250 but you get what you pay for and this truely is a brilliant phone!

The Overall feel & look of the Phone is superb second to none. The Screen is brilliant the colours are vibrant and very bright. The Walkman is a handy feature with 512Mb of memory plenty enough for all the songs you may want to download to it! 10/10 Super.

Its for sure that it in a combination of K750i and the W800i with the right stuffs. Only thing that has changed is that the internal memory has gone down to 20MB! But I wonder how much will W810i cost...
